Computer Care Contract

Terms and conditions.

Our Computer Care Contract is designed to provide you with the peace of mind that your computer is as healthy as it can be in resisting such problems as virus, adware or spyware and receives the required program updates it needs. As with any other piece of equipment your computer requires regular maintenance to serve you well.

It is not always immediately apparent but if not maintained your computer will gradually get slower and slower. It will start to loose program files and will eventually malfunction.

To ensure your computer provides you with the best service our Computer Care Contract includes at no extra cost other than the contract fee:

i) A twice yearly cleaning of any invasive material found.

ii) Setup of the programs needed to ensure you automatically receive those updates needed to ensure its best running.

iii) A check of your internet protection systems to ensure they are up to date and operating correctly.

iv) Removal of unwanted programs, disc clean up and defrag of your systems as needed.

Additionally:

i) We will if you wish and have a suitable operating system install Windows Live Messenger which enables remote access to your computer. Via such a system we are able to view your computer making any changes needed without having to attend the computers location. In this way we spend less time working for you and save you money. Windows Live Messenger is a Microsoft Program, is free and we can install it for you if you wish.

ii) We will should you require hardware replacement, upgrades, additional equipment or programs advise you of the most suitable to meet your needs and obtain the best prices we can on your behalf.

For contract holders we will reduce our usual hourly rate, currently £35 to £25 for any other work we do on your computer.

What is not covered:

i) The contract does not include any parts required.

ii) Labour costs are not included except for the 2 once yearly cleanup visits at 1 – 4 above.

Conditions:

i) Our Computer Care Contract covers an individual computer. If you have more than one computer we will reduce our fee for any subsequent machine by negotiation.

ii) We will not cover any computer that does not have installed and operating an antivirus program and Firewall. Such programs are not covered by our Computer Care Contract however we are able to provide such programs at an additional cost.

iii) We reserve the right to refuse to accept any equipment on our Computer Care Contract package should we feel it is unsuitable.

iv) We reserve the right to determine when the scheduled visits will take place.

v) Payment of our yearly contract fee, currently £200, is due in full before the contract can start.

vi) Payment for any invoice issued by us other than under the terms of our Computer Care Contract are payable strictly within 28 days. Thereafter as per Government guidance we apply an interest rate of 8% above the Bank of England rate prevailing at the time.

vii) Bonnydogproductions.com will do all in their power to ensure the security of your computer and its working order. However we do not accept any liability for the machine, its condition or any invasion of its memory or component parts. Total protection from the world wide web is impossible to insure as all protection attempts are retrospective.

viii) We are also not able to guarantee any parts, programs used or service provider’s software as we have no control over them. You will be provided with all manufactures guarantees etc and Bonnydogproductions.com only guarantees its own work.

ix) Bonnydogproductions.com reserves the right to change or alter the above terms and conditions as it deems fit. Should it be necessary to do so we will give our customers at least 14 days notice of the changes.
